Was a very wonderful man he was so friendly, very nice to talk to, I had wonderful conversations with him, I will definitely miss that. Sadly I was at work when you passed very unexpectedly. I’m a man of few words as many know. I’m sad I never got to visit you as often as I should have. I don’t say much and many times hide my feelings and act like the tough guy. Have to admit I always had a weak spot for you. I know to this day anytime you talked to Dona or karla you would ask about me ,and the time I did get to spend with you/around over the last 16yrs we always had good chats. You were a very nice man and treated me so good from day one. I’m gonna miss ya. Now go catch a salmon. Your son in-law Devin

I had the privilege to care for Don at Us Memorial
We had many a chat about his soccer years, his vacations to Clode Sound with his family, and his love of salmon fishing
His smile would greet me everyday and it always made me smile when he checked in on me instead of the other way around
His kindness and gentle spirit was palpable
I hope the skies are blue and the salmon are plentiful Don
