Obituary of Sandra Amelia King
It is with great sadness the family of Sandra King of Epworth, NL age 81 years announces her passing at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank with her loving family by her side.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories her loving husband Samuel of 57 years, sons Duane (Tammy) of Corner Brook, Sandy (Mary) of Epworth; grandchildren Brittany (Curtis) of Marystown, Trevor (Jody) of Epworth, Lucas of Epworth, Ashley of Corner Brook, Brittany (Jordan) of Alberta; great-grandchildren Logan, Rowan and Elsie plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Albert and Meta Mitchell, parents-in-law Gabriel and Martha King, brothers-in-law George King and Alvin King.
Sandra was married to the love of her life Samuel for 57 years. She was devoted to her family and church. She was a lifelong member of the UCW. Church has always played a significant role in Sandra’s life. From a tender age, she attended services, sat on many committees, always eager to serve and help others. Sandra’s extended family; nieces, nephews and all played a special part in her life. Sandra was well known for her love and kindness towards everyone she encountered. There wasn’t anything that she wouldn't do for the people she held near and dear to her heart. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Family will be accepting friends at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Thursday January 9, 2025 from 10AM-12PM, 2-4PM & 7-9PM.
Funeral service will take place from Serenity Chapel, Burin on Friday January 10, 2025 at 10:30AM with interment following at United Cemetery Epworth.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Epworth Cemetery Fund.
