Obituary of Joseph Masters

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Saturday June 8, 2024 at the age of 101 years.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 74 years Hilda Blanche (Stacey) Masters; daughters Linda (Gilbert Inkpen), Marion (Wayne Kenway); son Jerry (Sheila) Masters; son-in-law Clarence Smith; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by daughter Shirley, parents Isaac & Alice Masters; brothers Kenneth (Melinda), Bert (Maralla), James (Gussi), George (Daisy), Cecil; sisters Lillian (Earl Paddle), Gertrude (John McMahon), Stella (Heber Jarvis), Edna; sisters-in-law Suzanna (Joseph Smith), Rosella (Herman Peach), Marion Stacey.

In keeping with Joseph wishes cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be on Wednesday June 12, 2024 fr 2-4PM & 7-9PM from Serenity Funeral Home Burin.

Funeral service to take place from Serenity Chapel, Burin at Thursday June 13, 2024  at 2PM with inurnment following at a later date.

In Joseph memory donations may be made to United Church, Red Harbour or flowers gratefully accepted.
