Obituary of John Thomas Martin

It is with great sadness that the family of John Thomas Martin announces his sudden passing on Monday, May 9, 2022 at his residence in Lawn, NL at the age of 66 years.

Leaving to mourn with precious memories his three sons Jay Martin (Erin) of Meadow Lake, Adam Martin (Amy) of Paradise & Leif Martin (Mel) of Paradise;  4 grandchildren Ashton, Raine, Lena & Liam; sister Yvonne; brothers  Curtis & Patrick plus a large circle of other family and friends.

John worked on the sea for most of his life, he was a observer on foreign ships.  He enjoyed his work but hated to be away from his family. John will be missed by many especially his grandchildren. John was a friend to everyone he met and loved having a yarn has he called it to anyone who would listen. A kind gentle soul who will be missed  by many. 

In keeping with John wishes cremation has taken place there will be a service of remembrance at a later date.
