This family, and her role as wife, mother and grandmother, was the most important thing to Mom. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy. Being with her family was what Maureen enjoyed most of all. Her Grandchildren was the light of her life, one of the things in Mom’s life was knitting, sewing and reading anything she took her hand to she could do. She took great pride in her crafts. Sewers are special people. There is a beauty and a satisfaction in seeing the result of our labor grow and come to fruition. There is a peacefulness that can come over us as we knit and sew for the ones we love.
