Passed peacefully away at home in the presence of her family Emilie Joyce Hickman (Thomasen) at the age of 80 years.
Predeceased by her parents Captain Harry and Elizabeth Thomasen, brother Bill and sister Miriah.
Lovingly remembered by husband Henry of 59 years; 3 children Andy (Sandra), Dedra and Terry (Lisa); 2 grandsons Dillon and Kurtis. Also leaving to mourn, siblings Herb (Sadie), Bruce (Janice) and Sally (Bill); sisters-in-law Mildred Adams (Clayton and family), Margaret Hickman and family, Henrietta Pope (niece) and Margaret Thomasen. Also a large circle of other family and friends.

Joyce loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed her music, knitting and spending time in her garden. Her time in Millertown was always time well spent. From an early age Joyce dedicated many years of service to the Salvation Army Grand Bank Corps.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army Grand Bank Citadel Cemetery Fund.
Family will be accepting visitors at Serenity Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Wednesday, June 16th at 2-4PM and 7-8:30PM. In keeping with Joyce’s wishes cremation has taken place.
