It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Leonard (Len) William Forsey announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Heath Care Centre Hospital, NL, on Thursday, April 30th, 2020, at the age of 84 years.
Leaving to mourn with precious and loving memories his wife of 61 years Viola nee Rose, his daughter; Dianne (Glenn Rogers) Grand Bank, NL; his grandchildren; Rebecca Rogers (Dalton) Hamilton, ON, Alex Rogers St. John’s , NL, Naomi Rogers Grand Bank, NL , his sisters; Lillian Ralph Grand Bank, NL, Bertha Facey St. John’s, NL, BessAnne Forsey (Sam) Grand Bank, NL, & Sally Spencer (Barry) Fortune, NL; brother Alan Forsey (Madonna) St. John’s, NL; sisters-in-law Hazel Skinner (Max) Kingston,ON Carletta Forsey Grand Bank, NL; daughter-in-law Margaret Forsey Grand Bank, NL, Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Reuben & Winnifred Forsey, son Dan Forsey, parents-in-law Hector & Becky Rose, sister Irene Goobie, brother John Forsey, nieces Donna Goobie, Jennifer Drake, nephew Garry Goobie, sister-in-law Ann Forsey, brothers-in-law Austin Facey, Don Goobie & Reuben Ralph.
Due to the Covid-19. Government restrictions, a private burial service will take place at the United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank.
