Obituary of Shirley Isabella Barnes

It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Barnes of Creston announces her passing at US Memorial Hospital, St. Lawrence on Monday  August 5, 2019 at the age of 77 years.

Leaving to mourn with Precious and loving memories her children Joanne (Calvin Hodder) of Creston, Bertha (Frank Hodder) of St. Bernard's, Wayne (Linda) of Maddox Cove; 4 grandchildren Michael, Ashley (Chris), Justin (Amanda), Kendall (Jordan); 4 great- grandchildren; sisters Bertha (Charles Brown), Georgina Rose, Mary Lindop; brother Onslow (Clara); sisters-in-law Marie Vallis, Nina West (Stan), Gertie Barnes and a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by husband Clyde, parents Onslow & Bertha Vallis, brother Tom, brothers-in-law George Rose & Stephen Lindop.

The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 2-9PM and on Wednesday August 7, 2019 from 1-9PM from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.

Funeral Service will take from St. Michaels Anglican Church, Creston onThursday, August 8, 2019 at 10AM with interment  following at St. Michael's Anglican Cemetery, Creston South.
