Obituary of Wally Stone

It is with great sadness that the family of Wally Stone of Grand Bank announces his passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre at the age of 57 years on Thursday, February 7, 2019.

Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories wife Judy of 22 years, parents Ivan and Bessie of Marystown, NL, step-son Robbie Anstey (Cheryl) of Grande Prairie, AB, step-daughter Tina (Burton Knickle) of Fortune, NL, brothers Perry (Michelle) of Marystown, NL,  Mike (Cindy) of St. John’s, NL, sister Michelle (Keith Hillier) of St. John’s, NL,  3 grand children Tyler, Robyn and Austyn, nieces & nephews Zachary, Maria, Matthew, Taylor, Michael and Sarah, faithful friend Koko  plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by grandparents Wallace & Leah Stone and Abraham & Georgina Millier.

Visitation to take place from Serenity Funeral home, Grand Bank on Monday February 11, 2019 from 10AM – 4PM and 7-9PM.

Funeral service to take place from Serenity Chapel, Grand Bank on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11 AM.

In Keeping with Wally's wishes cremation has taken place.

Donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA, Burin Peninsula.
