Martha and I are so sad that Hank has passed. Hank was my best friend while I worked in Burin. He was the first person I met playing hockey there. He took me fishing, mussel hunting, boat trips and many night at the cabin. I will never forget Hank. Jackie and family have our deepest sympathy.

So sorry to hear of your families loss. Hank was such an amazing person. I always remember the time he taught me how to drive his bronco! He was such a fun person, he will be missed so much by everyone who knew him. My heart breaks for his family.

I got to know Hank in the early years of our soccer days … after moving to Burin a few years later reconnected with him while he was working at Salt Pond Esso …. in all that time I could only find one fault that he had … his body wasn’t big enough for his heart … you were indeed a friend to everyone that had the privilege of knowing you … you will indeed be missed … RIP my friend

You left me with a memory I’ll never forget, it involves a moose head held over my head and Hank waking me up to go moose hunting, lol. Ya knows I never got the start when I opened me eyes and here is first thing I see is mr moose head staring me in the face and Mr Hank laughing his head off holding said moose head. Love you buddy, never forget you, ya rascal. Lol. Keep watch over us my friend!!

Nelson and I met Hank through his brother in law Greg. A nicer man could not be found. He was so good to our then little boys. Always up for a laugh. I remember being asked if I wanted a drink. I replied yes a cooler, what did Hank show up with but a big hard plastic red and white cooler. He was always up for a joke and to carry on but the love for his family shown through everything he did and said. We lost touch over the years except for a hello and a little yarn in Marystown or at the gas station but the memories we made as friends will live on in our hearts. God Bless you all and may your memories of Hank help you through. Love Nelson and Margaret & the Boys
