Obituary of Bruce Richard Isaacs
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Bruce Isaacs of Burin announce his passing.
Bruce passed peacefully away at home surrounded by his wife and children on Sunday Aug 6, 2023; at the age of 86.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories is his beloved wife Susan; his sons David of Terra Nova, Derek (Tawny) of Terra Nova, Scott (Jenn) of Alberta; daughters Leigh Ann of Marystown and Jennifer (Roger) of Paradise; his precious grandchildren Faith (Logan) and Carson; sisters in law Ann Benson and Wendy Benson; brothers in law Raymond Benson (Viola) and George Williams, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents Robert and Melinda Isaacs; stepmother Anne; brother Basil (Grace) and sister Audrey; Parents in law David and Annie Benson; brothers in law Alex and Ken Benson.
A special thank you to three very important people in Bruce's life. His angel nurse Darlene who came to visit weekly; his long time buddy Michael who kept him company and looked after his every need; and Louise who with her experience and knowledge guided us through his final days. You are appreciated more than words could ever express, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
In keeping with Bruce's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral service is to take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove at 2:00 pm on Thursday August 10th, 2023. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Hodders Point. Donations may be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
