Very sorry to learn of Terry having passed. I had to opportunity to work with Terry during our long service in the RNC. Always there when we needed him, Terry was committed to gathering those important investigative details and making a difference. Many are taken away, way too early. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

From his early days growing up in Ramea, where his rebel persona originated at an early age, to his adult life spanning an additional 50 years. Terry lived big...even reckless at times...coming from a man who was sometimes reckless with him. He had a good heart, many friends and very few enemies...if any. He rolled with the punches, dug a few holes like the rest of us, but always had the presence of mind to dig himself out. Like others...I was on the journey with him in the early years, in Ramea and also in St John's. We laughed a lot during those days and were so busy doing anything but being good. We were, however, always cognizant of the line...and even though we sometimes straddled it we never completely crossed it and for that reason we all became parents, colleagues, friends, partners, and productive members of society. We made it, pal... Pretty well all the dreams we had back in the day came to fruition...even if we sometimes zigged and zagged to make them happen. Nobody ever told us that life was a straight line anyway... Robert Frost says it best...
Terry, I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and we—
We often took the one less traveled by,
And that made all the difference.
My sincere condolences to his sons, family and friends.

Terry was a familiar face as we both grew up in Ramea, spending a lot of time with my brother Ed, so I remember him well. He was quite a character then, and judging by the beautiful video tribute, he made his mark on all who knew him. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Both Terry and Ed are gone now but hopefully they can share a few more tunes together. My condolences to Terry's family. RIP Terry.

I met Terry when I joined the RNC in 1984 I liked him right away. He was kinda like a rebel without a cause, just being who he was without explaining himself. We all admired that about him. Management probably not so much because I'm sure he broke every dress code rule in the book. He did years of under cover work and was real good at it because of his dedication. I,m sure his dress was part of his success in blending in with the criminals . I always figured the Chief gave him this job because they could change him. To his family, keep his memories close, May God Bless you.To Terry, your shifts are all done. To quote Alabama "Roll on, Roll on, Roll on".
It was an honour. To have known you.

I was saddened to hear that Terry had passed away. We were both in the same RNC recruit class all the was back in 1979. Terry was the Recruit of the Year for 1979, and I was the first runner up. WE both spent the first couple of years working in the High Complaint Unit and had many interesting experiences there. He was a good cop, and a lot of fun to work with.
My condolences to his family; he will surely be missed.
10-7 Brother.

Started him off you the interest in bikes riding. With transfers unfortunately we lose contacts, but I do have fond memories and stories to tell.
