Obituary of Louise Emily Hickman

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Saturday, November 26, 2022, EMILY LOUISE HICKMAN of Grand Bank, NL at age 74.

Leaving to mourn husband of 50 years, Max Hickman, son, Dave Hickman (Teena), daughter, Alison Hickman (Blaine), grandchildren, Leah (Matthew) Oake, Zachary, and Austin.  Sisters, Maxine (Tom) Rose, and Anne (Keith) Hillier, and brother, Eli Patten.

Predeceased by Mother and Father, Georgie and Gerald Patten, Mother and Father-in-law, Harriet and George Hickman, sister, Geraldine Matthews, brother, Clarence Patten, sisters-in-law, Shirley Patten and Ardith Patten, brother-in-law, Rodney Matthews, and special friend, Marjorie Pike.

A very special thanks to her homecare workers whom she thought the world of, Madonna, Holly, Darlene, Cheryl, and Crystal.

Visitation is to be held at Serenity Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM followed by a service at 4:30 PM.  Interment at a later date.

Donations can be made to a Charity of one’s choice, and flowers are gratefully accepted.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Homes.
