Our mom was a very kind and caring soul. She loved her family with all her heart and treasured all the fun times and family gatherings and was always ready for a game of crazy eights. She was a long standing member with Bethany UCW group and always loved helping with the many soup suppers, rock-a-thons and bake sales – she was always there to support in whatever way she could. She loved sitting on her front porch on warm sunny days enjoying the fresh air and taking in the lovely view from her home and admiring her flower garden.
Special thank you to her home care workers over the past few years, especially, Mary, Edna and Elaine the love and care you showed to our mom will never be forgotten. We always knew she was in great hands.
Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at St Clare’s Mercy Hospital and the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for your support and care over the years and to the staff at Meadow Creek Retirement Home for all their care and support over the past 4 months – mom enjoyed her stay with you and loved attending the activities especially the music and singing.
