My heart is in shock and sad that I have to send condolences to all of you. Rob loved you guys so much. He was so proud of his family. The biggest gift to Rob was Sara. He had a special spot in his heart for her. I will sadly miss Rob he is a brother to me and always will be my best friend. I am so grateful for every moment we shared together and with our families.
There are not to many great men out there. Rob is definitely one of those men.
I wish I could've been by his side and there for you guys and to pay my respects. One day soon. I have a Toronto Maple Leafs loonie to still give him that I've been saving for the next time we seen each other.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
I worked with Rob in 2012, although I did not know him outside of work he let It be known if you were ever in Grand Prairie you’d best get in contact with him.
He often talked about NFLD. Both found it funny that we hardly knew any of the same people but that just made our conversations a conversation.
We didn’t work side by each, and there was the scattered time that we didn’t see eye to eye. I’m sure there’s times I drove the man absolutely nuts but he on times knew exactly how to get me going as well.
Rob took so much pride in his work, never missed a day. If he didn’t know something, you could rest assure that he knew the next time the conversation came around.
I have such fond memories, that I could go on and on about. Such a kind and gentle soul.
I hope your resting peacefully, god bless all those that you graced with your presence. I hope you all find strength in this most difficult time.

Maureen, Bob and family. Until I saw the obituary I could not get my head around something that you all have been suffering with for many days. Rob was such a sweet man. I enjoyed many giggles with him online and loved to see him if he was home. It has been awhile though but he was always there in some way. I remember him in a basket at our house when Mom babysat him. He was always such a cute pleasant baby. A real little man from day one. So quiet and pleasant. He really did not change as he grew older. He was so well liked, had many friends and loved Newfoundland. As many advances as there are in cancer treatment there is always these super aggressive ones and we have no chance. I know that you would not have wanted him to suffer but that sudden loss must be unbearable. Harry and I send our love to you all
