Obituary of Bessie Combden
It is with great sadness that the family of Bessie Combden of Fortune announces her passing on October 15th at Blue Crest Interfaith Nursing Home at the age of 89 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband George; sons Dennis (Ruby Hardy) of Fortune and Robert (Joy) of Portugal Cove; grandson Kirk; sisters-in-law Lena Brown and Jessie Petten; brother-in-law Hedley Lake; caretakers Caroline, Barbara, Garland and niece Joan (Wilifred); nieces and nephews from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia an Ontario plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by sister Mary, Effie, Jane and Lillian and brother Frank.
Resting at All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune Monday at 7PM and Tuesday 10AM- 12PM , 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
Funeral Service to take place from All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune on Wednesday, October 17th at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery Fortune.
Donations in her memory may be made to Anglican Cemetery Fund, Fortune or Blue Crest Bus Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
