Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Drake

It is with great sadness the family of Elizabeth Anne Drake of Burin announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Tuesday June 5th, 2018 at the age of 94 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons David (Susanna) of Burin, Edward (Joy) of Burin Bay; daughters Anne Comby of Burin, Edith Druken (Patrick) of St. Thomas Line, Pauline Whalen (Robert) of St. John's, Maureen Farrell of Alberta, Margaret Farewell (James) of Winterland; 19 grandchildren 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister Shirley Beck (Edgar) of Burin; brother Eleazer Martin of Burin plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by husband Patrick and son Alphonus.

Visitatation Tuesday, June 5, 2018  for family only 7-9PM.

Family will be accepting visitors Wednesday from 10AM-9PM.

Donations in her memory may be made to the family or flowers gratefully accepted

Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Salmonier on  Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10:00AM with interment following at Sacred Heart RC Cemetery Fox Cove.
