George Ernie and Family: Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember sitting with him in the back of the Creston church. Because of his sacrifice in the war we today can live as free as we do. To Aunt Francie, and the Forsey and Brushett families,
So sorry to hear of Uncle George's passing. I have many fond childhood memories of hearing his stories about his service during the war and seeing him dressed in his uniform on Remembrance Day. He was the first to inspire an interest in that part of our history for me and pride for the brave Canadians who served. That is something that will always be a part of me. My deepest sympathies to Ashley, Robyn and all his grandchildren as well. Grandfathers have a special place in our hearts that no one else can quite fill. Cherish the memories and tell his stories, I think you'll find it helps to keep him close.
