Obituary of Greta Mary Brinston

It is with great sadness the family of Greta Brinston of Creston North announces her passing on January 10, 2017 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn sons Ash Brinston of Creston North, Melvin Brinston (Elaine) of Alberta, Darrell (Heather) of Alberta and Fabian Strong (Elaine) of Burin Bay Arm; daughter Beverly King (Wince) of Black Duck Cove; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Nora Clarke; brothers Gordon Bugden and Curtis Hiscock; special friend Joan Power plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by husband Angus Brinston and daughter Millicent Brinston; sisters Edna Brinston and Irene Parsons. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday, January 12th from 10am to 1pm . In keeping with Greta's wishes cremation will follow. Family will be accepting visitors Sunday, January 15th from 10am to 9pm. Funeral Service will take place from Serenity Chapel, Burin Monday, January 16th at 10:30am. In Greta's memory donations may be made to the family.
