Obituary of Kenneth Brushett

In Memory Of Kenneth Brushett 1940 – 2015 Passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, due to a sudden aortic aneurism, Kenneth Brushett of Bradford, Ontario, formerly of Bulls Cove Burin, in his 74th year. He leaves behind a large circle of family & friends, both here in Newfoundland, as well as Ontario, where he lived out most of his years. Predeceased by his mother and step father, Edith Mary & Eric Inkpen. Kenneth’s large circle of friends in Ontario have already held two separate memorials for him; one at the Bradford Alliance Church & the other at Lakeside Nazarene Church. A testament to his kindness & generosity towards others. Kenneth made many friends over the years as a result of his kind & talkative nature & his willingness to help others; whether it would be to offer someone a ride to bible study or deliver a meal to seniors living on their own. He was also very passionate about playing “Bridge” & was a member of the Bridge Club & from what I hear he was really good at it. He also cared very deeply for his family & made sure to stay in touch with them regularly. He lived a simple life being enriched by the people around him & not material things. The Brushett family will be holding a Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Friday March 4, 2016 between 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cementary, Salmonier Burin.
