It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Inkpen of Lewin's Cove announces his passing at Health Science Center, St. John's on Friday, November 28th at the age of 88 years.
Leaving to mourn sons Morley Inkpen (Phyllis) of Lewin's Cove, Chris Inkpen (Gladys) of Lewin's Cove, Roger Inkpen (Goldie) of St. Albert's AB, Todd Inkpen of Sherwood Park AB; daughters Daphne Hoben (Robert) of Lewin's Cove, Cherry Frampton (Rick) of Sherwood Park AB ; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Arthur Inkpen of Clarenville plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by wife Mildred Inkpen; brothers Kyle, John, Leonard, Eugene; sister Mabel.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Saturday from 10AM-2PM Family only, public viewing from 2-9PM and Sunday 2-9PM.
Funeral service to take place from Hope United Church, Lewin's Cove at 2PM on Monday, December 1st with interment following at United cemetery, Lewin's Cove.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Hope United Church fund or US Memorial Hospital fund.
