Obituary of Mary Melinda Turner

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Melinda Turner of Little St. Lawrence announces her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Monday December 1st at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn husband Stan Turner; sons Cyril Turner (Fiancee Nikki Farrell) of Little St. Lawrence, John Allan Turner (Fiancee Sheranda Hatcher) of Marystown ; daughters Myra Bennett (Paul) of Grand Bank, Rowena Turner (Fiance Jimmy Tarrant) of Cambridge, ON ; grandchildren Trevor, Melissa, Stephanie, Ashley, Nichola, Ashley, Courtney, Tyler, Nicholas, Abagail, Dakota, Joshua, Micoya, Landon; brothers John Burke (Bridget) and Henry Burke (Maud) both of Little St. Lawrence; plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents John and Mary-Ann Burke, sister Theresa Coady, brother Robert Burke. Resting at St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church, St. Lawrence. on Tuesday, 1-9PM. In keeping with Melinda's wishes cremation will take place after the visitation on Wednesday. Funeral service to take place from the St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church, St. Lawrence on Friday December 5th at 1PM with Inurnment to follow at Mount Cecilia RC Cemetery .
