Obituary of Benjamin Pardy

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin Pardy of Lewin's Cove announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories daughters Alice (Tony Fifield) of Gainford AB, Faye (Boyd Isaacs) of Lewin's Cove, Laura (Ken Dicks) of Bridgewater NS; grandchildren Angie Gordon (Scott), Toni Creech, Denise Kelley, Steven (Erica) Dicks, Stacey Dicks, Stephanie Dicks; Great-grandchildren Gregory Gordon, Connor Gordon, Reece Gordon, Kieran Creech, Avery Creech, Beatrice Dicks, Anya Kielly of NS, Metigan Kielly of NS, Helen Kielly of NS; sister Betty Mullett of Burin; sisters-in-law Bertha Norris of Clarenville, Violet Pardy of St. John's, Jean Pardy of St. John's; special cousin Marina Thornhill of St. John's plus a wide circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wife Alice; grandson Harold Isaacs; brothers Jim, Jack, Garland, Phil; sister Edith. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday from 10AM-9PM. Funeral to take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church , Ship Cove on Monday at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point.
